Frequently Asked Questions

Engagement session in Oakville on the rocks by the lake

Where are you based?

We call Toronto home and consider it our base; however, we photograph weddings all over Southern Ontario, including the GTA, Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Muskokas, Prince Edward County and Simcoe County. We also travel frequently to our ‘second home’ in Zaragoza, Spain and work with wedding professionals in both the Aragon and Basque Country provinces of Spain. Please contact us for more information about our Spain destination wedding and out-of-province wedding collections.

How does the wedding photography process work?

We answer inquiries within 24-36 hours of delivery to confirm our availability and provide you with more information on our wedding collections.  We then book a telephone / video call or face-to-face meeting to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.  We answer all your questions and explain more about what to expect on the wedding day and the process leading up to your special day.

Once we’ve had the chance to chat, we make arrangements to sign an agreement which outlines everything previously discussed.  Once it has been signed and the booking fee has been paid, we are all set!  We begin planning for your engagement session and your big day.

What is Your Payment Schedule?

We divide our payments in thirds. A third is required when signing the agreement, the second third is due two weeks before your event and the final third is due before the delivery of your wedding photos.

How many photos do we receive?

The quantity of professionally edited photos you receive depends on the wedding collection you choose.  We work diligently to deliver a proportionate number of photographs to the number of hours of coverage.  Our objective with every wedding is to deliver the most memorable photos from a couple’s special day, so you can be assured that your images will be the best of the best!  For more information on our editing process, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How do we receive our images?

We deliver your professionally edited images in both high resolution and social resolution on a beautiful personalized online wedding gallery.  We provide a download PIN code which can be shared with your family and friends to view and download the collection of photographs.  Your gallery can also be used to create favourite lists, buy prints or share via Facebook, Pinterest, ‘X’ or email.

Can we arrange to have prints or photo albums made after our wedding day?

Absolutely! We believe wedding memories are meant to live! A bespoke wedding album including your favourite wedding photos does just that; it instantly brings back a rush of memories, feelings and thoughts. We are proud to partner with Dekora Album Co., a Canadian creator of handmade personalized boutique albums and prints. Please contact us for our album and fine art prints pricing guide.

Can We Have Access to the RAW Files?

As with all professional photographers, the files on our cameras are RAW files. Special computer software is required to open and work on the files after every session we shoot. We love to bake, so we like comparing RAW files and the finished images we deliver to baking a cake. It’s not until the batter has gone through the stage of cooking in the oven, that one could call it a cake. Junilo’s attention to fine detail when editing, his experience, education and artistic eye are what draw clients to our ‘clean’, timeless editorial style and result in a gorgeous final gallery of images; therefore, it is not our policy to give access to the RAW files.

how long does it take to deliver our wedding photos?

Due to the high volume of events during wedding season, it takes eight to twelve weeks for Junilo to finish your wedding day gallery of photographs.  We always share a sneak peek the week after a couple’s wedding day to get them excited for what’s to come! For all other sessions, eg. engagements, lifestyle shoots, etc. our turnaround time is eight weeks.

Are you insured?

Yes! We have both general liability and equipment insurance. Some wedding venues require photographers to provide proof of this type of insurance before they may be allowed to engage in business on their property. If this is the case with your wedding venue, we are happy to provide you with an insurance certificate.
